St. Sauveur-le-Vicomte

St. Sauveur-le-Vicomte is a village which is located in the center of the COTENTIN peninsula. It is surrounded by hedged farmland and swamps.
This peculiar countryside has influenced the dominant large animal orientation of our practice.

Milk production (Napoleon the 3rd funded the construction of a rail road from St. Sauveur to Paris, in order to ship milk to Paris), horse breeding (Louis the 14th established a stud farm) and cattle breeding, have always largely contributed to the economic development of the country, of which St. Sauveur was the main town.

This is also why the veterinary practice has been established here a century ago, where the veterinary Surgeons Brazier, Regnier, Lengronne and Veau have worked.

This practice has developed and has adapted to the client’s need.

Since 2014, the practice has moved to the road of Portbail, in the former dependencies of ehe Beaulieu castle. In this magnificent environment, the buildings were refurbished and adapted to the constraints of veterinary medicine, to serve the patient’s needs.

As of today, the practice is composed of several specialized buildings, allowing specific care techniques.
There are consultation rooms, operating theaters and hospitalisation wards for small animals, horses and cattles.
One of our buildings is dedicated to equine gynecology. We also have a radiology room, as well as a small animal treatment room.
